Over the years we have assisted many productions including the Wardens Pantomime at The University College of Wales Aberystwyth with horses and carriages as well as several Father Xmas runs throughout Wales. During November 2010 we were asked to assist with the production of the film Resistance `being filmed in the Black Mountains near Llanthony Abbey Abergavenny in Nov 2010. This film is based on the book Resistance by Owen Sheers who was born in Fiji and brought up in Abergavenny, South Wales. It is 1944, and following the failed D-Day landings, a German counter-attack has landed on British soil. Shortly after the men's disappearance, a German patrol arrives in the valley, and when Sarah begins an acquaintance with the patrol's commanding officer, Albrecht, both sides must decide whether to remain enemies or to come together in defiance of the war surrounding the valley.
